How would you feel if you never again had to worry about your dog running away, knocking over your guests, or generally being out of control?

Cooper: Mini Aussiedoodle Service Provided: 4 week Basic Manners Boot Camp Program + 3 weeks Custom Advanced Boot Camp When I first met Heather, I knew immediately I wanted her to help with Cooper’s training; in fact I didn’t even interview anyone else. When the two of them met, there was an instant bond and it was very clear to me that Heather has a special way with dogs. With Cooper, Heather had her hands full as he was an untrained 2-year old Aussie/Poodle mix with tons of energy, no potty training experience and a strong affinity for squirrel hunting. Heather spent several weeks with Cooper and successfully taught him all the basic commands, bell training for housetraining and he is responding very well when we run into squirrels. She was very diligent and thorough in her transition training of me and is always available for questions and further training if/when necessary. Thelma & Louise: Irish Goldendoodles Service Provided: 4 week Boot Camp Program + Customized Advanced Boot Camp & In-Home Training My experience with Heather has been outstanding. We have two 1-year old Irish Golden Doodles. We started out training at the humane society. That’s was fine, but my wife has health problems and it became difficult for us to train there. We searched for a home trainer and via a referral found Heather. We were immediately impressed with her personality and knowledge. We started out with her training the pups in our home. We then embarked on a 4 week intensive “boot camp” at a local day care facility. Currently, we are having the pups see heather once a week, alternating between the daycare and our home. The results have been outstanding. We have two energetic, intelligent and highly trainable dogs and she has done wonders with them. Both pups have issues, one shyness and the other over-exuberance, which caused heather some challenges, which she dealt with using various strategies for training. In-home training is certainly a necessary part of the process in my opinion, but you should discuss with her doing some of the training at an outside facility. Molly: Labrador Retriever Service Provided: 4 week Puppy Boot Camp Heather trained our puppy, Molly, and Molly knows now what we want her to do; and she walks on-leash (instead of pulls all the time); and generally speaking our dog is well-behaved. Barley: Springer Spaniel Service Provided: In-Home Training for Fear of and Reactivity Toward People. Adult guests have noticed a remarkable difference in his behavior. He is calm and has even crawled in some guests' laps (at their encouragement.) He is also comfortable watching from a distance, which is a great improvement. He's still wary of people on wheels when we go on walks, but the reaction is much less and it is easier to regain his attention and help him calm down when he does get upset. Barley is doing very well with the new baby. He has been so sweet and thoughtful from the time that Charles was born. We are very pleased with his progress. He is still not great with other kids, and we will have to work on that, but we are taking it one step at a time. Overall, the training was very helpful. We use it everyday and we see the difference! When our puppy Taylor got to the unruly 3 month age we hooked up with Heather. Heather came to our home and taught us how to train Taylor. We were really happy she was very nice working with our kids. We found her in-home service is quite unique among trainers and allows her to begin with puppies at age 3 months when most trainers won’t accept puppies until 6 months. We were very happy she started with Taylor at 3 months. Taylor immediately became very well mannered and it was crucial that our family learned how to keep her that way.
